Mais martelés seuls, ils dépolitisent un phénomène dont les causes sont éminemment politiques.
Oui, cette canicule est le résultat de choix politiques et économiques.
Dans un monde qui ne serait pas régenté par un capitalisme et un extractivisme fossile qui crament la planète par tous les bouts, elle n’existerait tout simplement pas.
Les dirigeants libéraux qui nous gouvernent depuis des décennies ont amené notre seule et unique planète habitable au bord du gouffre.
@Heinz Diese Verkürzungen sind halt immer ein wenig problematisch: Es sind wohl nicht nur liberale Politiker (wobei – was ist schon liberal?), die das verursacht haben. Es sind auch Menschen, die entsprechend leben, die diese Politiker wählen, die ihrem kleingeistigen Egoismus frönen, die unfähig sind (oder sein wollen), Zusammenhänge zu erkennen, Kausalitäten zu verstehen, für die ein oder zwei gedankliche Zwischenschritte erforderlich sind. 1/5

@Heinz Wenn jeder Automobilist nach, bei seiner Fahrt die von ihm direkt oder indirekt getöteten Lebewesen instant auf dem Beifahrersitz finden würde, käme er (vielleicht) ins Denken. Was ich bei der Schuldzuweisung an so abstrakte Konzepte (wie Liberalismus, Kapitalismus etc.) problematisch finde, ist eben genau dieses theoretische Element: Ein Begriff, unter den alles Mögliche subsummierbar ist, wird als (oft alleinige) Ursache für den derzeitigen Wahnwitz ausgemacht – 2/5

@Heinz und gleichzeitig kann sich damit der Einzelne (weil diesem Begriff gegenüber als machtlos empfindend) von jeder Verantwortung freisprechen. Weil es ja an dem "Ismus" liegt, der – man weiß nicht wie – sich hier auf Erden wundersamer Weise manifestiert, materialisiert hat und dem man ausgeliefert ist wie weiland dem lieben Gott. @Heinz dass sie das Produkt unseres Denkens sind (wie Feuerbach das in Bezug auf den Demiurgen getan hat). Wie anderweitig schon mal angedeutet: Wir sind als Menschen mindestens so egoistisch wie altruistisch, beide Eigenschaften haben uns als Spezies erfolgreich gemacht. @Heinz werden wir untergehen. Und eines der Hauptprobleme scheint mir vor allem darin zu bestehen, dass unsere Intelligenz einem Überleben in archaischer Umwelt dienlich war, einer Umwelt, in der man selten mittel- oder längerfristige Folgen richtig einschätzen musste. (Bei Jared Diamond finden sich Beispiele, dass das allerdings schon früher manchmal schief gegangen ist.) Jetzt aber _müssen(t)_ wir das können – oder es endet in einer Katastrophe. 5/5
